Welcome back to all our new and not so new parents and children. We are all settled back to school and looking forward to the year ahead. There is a real sense of enthusiasm and purpose around these days which is very encouraging.
Congratulations
Congratulations to all our past pupils who have received their Junior cert and Leaving cert results which are among the highest achieved in both Secondary schools.
Book Money
Book rental is set at €40 per child and is due before 30th September. Please do not let payment go past this date as many hours can be wasted sending reminders.
Calling to school.
In the unusual event that you wish to collect your child early from school, to attend doctor or dentist for example, please call into the office, sign him/her out and your child will meet you there. Also, in the event of your child becoming unwell at school they will be brought to the office . This applies to all classes.
Morning Club
The morning club is run as a voluntary measure by the school to help parents who wish to drop off children on their way to work. It begins at 8.30 a.m. and you should always check that the gates are open and a teacher is present before leaving your child.
New Infants
A short course “your child beginning school” will take place over two evenings towards the end of this month. During these evenings you will get a chance to discuss your hopes for your child at school and to ask questions about the school day. It also gives you an opportunity to meet other parents. You will receive details later.

Parents’ Association
If you are new to the school ,or if you aren’t, joining the parents’ Assoc. is a great way to integrate with other parents. The Association had a brilliant year organising our reunion last year. They put in a huge effort and the events were a brilliant success. The Association always wants new members. If you feel you could contribute in any way you would be very welcome. Its existence is vital to the school.
Reminder : No nuts allowed at school due to allergies
