World Book Day

We were delighted to celebrate World Book Day  on Thursday 2nd March 2017.  World Book Day has become firmly established as Ireland’s biggest annual event promoting the enjoyment of books and reading. The main aim is to encourage children to explore the pleasure of books and reading by providing them with an opportunity to have a book of their own. 

We created our own book covers, using books we already know for inspiration or our imagination.  Each class had a winner for most creative and detailed.
