This week in the school we will be celebrating Catholic Schools Week. On Monday we had an assembly and we prayed together with the theme of “Families of Faith” in mind. Throughout the week we will have classroom religious lesson on this theme.
On Thursday we welcome our Grandparents and Great Grandparents. We welcome those of all faiths and none. The day starts at 9:30 and the Grandparents are free to walk around the school and chat to the children and maybe give an insight on what school was like when they were going. There will be tea and coffee in the hall at 10:30 and a small performance by the school choir.
On Thursday we also celebrate St. Brigit’s Day. Please bring in reeds for the crosses.
