This week at school we are celebrating Science/Engineering Week. Each day begins with an announcement over the intercom by a particular class about a feat of engineering. The senior classes conducted experiments with the junior classes. We had a lot of fun! 😀😀😀😀
5th class went down to Senior Infants this afternoon. They experimented with water, food colouring and oil. They built bridges using newspaper and masking tape. They tested various materials’ abilities in protecting an egg during an egg drop and they constructed 3D shapes using spagetti and marshmallows! 😄😄
