Well done to our Fantastic Stars of the Week. These children have been singled out as preforming at a great standard in the classroom whether that be at their schoolwork or being nice to other children.

Thanks to Ms. McDermott who has organised a fantastic book week for the children. We had Authors, Drama, different teachers reading, different classes reading to one another and even Mr. McGowan was around to the classes reading to the children. It was all crowned by the amazing dress up day. We had Mr. Bean, Superman,…

To end book week we all dressed up as out favourite characters. Patsy Cavanagh came in to visit and recount stories of emigration with some drama and song thrown in! The children also received prizes for competitions throughout the week.  

The drama teacher Laura Keogh and several students from Crana College came to school today to lead 3rd and 4th class in mime, dance, acting, song singing and performance! They showed the school all they learned this afternoon! Thank you to all involved!!

We really enjoyed our D.E.A.R time this afternoon as part of our book week celebration!

Today each class took part in dance classes with Claire McCarron. We had so much fun and can’t wait for next week’s lessons already!

Fourth class had cycle safety training today.  This will run for 6 weeks in total.  They had great fun today. Well done to all.

Congratulations to our fantastic sixth class who were confirmed today.  Once again they do their schools and families proud.

April Newsletter 2018 Welcome back after our Easter Break. The year is flying by and what a term it has been. We had snow, ice, storms, county champions, table quizzes, grandparent’s day, healthy eating and much much more. We are all looking forward to another exciting last term and who knows what that will bring….
