Marcas Ó Murchú visited out school today and performed some Irish traditional music for all of the classes in our new classroom. He told us about the different sounds the tin whistle, bodhran and flute can make, performed a few reels, jigs and hornpipes and answered our questions. We are so grateful to Ms Ó Murchú’s husband for coming in and letting us listen to some beautiful Irish music.
