This is an appreciation post. We have some extraordinary children in our school but every so often one child goes above and beyond. Alex Barr, a sixth class student of Master Kelly’s room was awarded Ulster young carer of the year.
We are all so proud of Alex, who has goes about his business with little fuss or need for fame. Alex is a great role model for all children of his age.
Alex was recently selected as a participant on the Late Late Toy Show where he was on stage with Ed Sheeran.
