A massive congratulations to the boys from 4th and 5th Class who took home the County Title today in Burnfoot Youth Centre. After beating Tooban and Dromore in the group stages and a loss to Scoil Roisin, the boys progressed to the final thanks to their superior goal difference. The hurling on display was phenomenal and they battled to a 1-0 victory over Scoil Roisin after a monumental effort by every player in the final. It is the first time since 2004 that the school has won the title. The school is immensely proud of their achievement and they progress to the Ulster competition in two weeks time.

The girls also showed fantastic levels of skill and bravery in their matches. After a loss to Tooban in the first game, they won two closely contested games with Scoil Roisin and Dromore to progress to the final. Luck was not to be on our side with two efforts hitting the post and the Tooban keeper putting in a player of the match performance. The girls lost out on a 1-0 score line but left with their heads held high after giving it their all. Well done to all the players and a word of thanks to the parents and carers for their support.
