Another proud day for the school as our girls competed in the FAI 5 A Side Ulster Finals in Aileach and finished as runners up!
The girls competed in the medium schools category where they played against Corrcacrin from Cavan, Cootehill from Monaghan and Lurgybrack from Letterkenny.
Beating Corrcacrin 4-2 and Cootehill 2-1 and narrowly defeated by eventual winners Lurgybrack 2-0.
This is an amazing achievement for the girls made even more astounding considering that only 2 of the team are members of a soccer club.
Although the girls were a little disappointed not to make it through to participate in the Aviva they have done themselves, their families and the school proud and they have now put our school on the map at provincial level in soccer.
