1. Sea Safari Adventure in Moville!

Our 4th and 5th Class students recently took part in an exciting Sea Safari as part of the Explorers Education programme. The learning kicked off last week with a fascinating classroom module, where pupils discovered the vibrant ecosystems that thrive along our coasts.

Today, the children put their knowledge into action during a field trip to Moville, led by expert facilitator David McCann. Exploring the rocky shore, the young explorers searched for and identified a wonderful variety of marine life, discovering everything from colourful seaweeds to shore crabs and small fish.

It was an incredible, hands-on learning experience that brought their environmental studies to life. The children had a fantastic day out, returning to school full of enthusiasm and newfound appreciation for our coastal habitats. A huge thank you to David McCann for such an engaging and memorable safari!
