Congratulations to the boys and girls from junior infants to sixth class who are now part of the Green school’s committee. On Tuesday we met with Aengus, who is our Green school coordinator and he told us that the area we are focusing on is litter and waste. Aengus gave us good tips on how we can improve the school in litter and waste. Stay tuned to the website for more information on the new Green schools committee.

The Green schools’ committee has organised a Junk Kouture fashion show for this Friday the 28th of February in school. We want all fashion designers, models to get creative and design a piece of designer clothes made from junk from home. Get recycled items and get creative. There will be prizes on the day and it promises to be a great fun day for the children.

Well done to Callum from 5th class who designed our poster.
